State of the art report highlights lack of mobile learning and assessment of digital skills

May 8th / 2024

SIMOnS newly released state of the art report used a comprehensive database of research studies and online tools regarding digital skills.

The literature review report deliverable of SIMOnS Work Package 3.1 reveals key findings on learning and assessment tools of digital skills.

Using up-to-date studies between 2020 and 2024, the report states the importance of DigComp framework in the construction of assessment scales. However, in terms of educational content, the European Union framework is less used for online courses or training interventions on digital skills.

Another important finding is the scarcity of mobile apps designed to assess and engage students in developing digital skills, reinforcing the innovative approach of SIMOnS.

The report seeks to inform the development of SIMOnS app and is now ready to be consulted here.

The working document is now  ready to be consulted.
